DESCRIPTION:Columbia Dogs-on-the-Go\n\nWe'll start this walk at the histori
 c Bollman Truss Bridge\, built in 1869 and moved to Savage in 1887. It's th
 e last remaining bridge of its type in the world. The walk on the Savage Hi
 storic Mill Trail is an easy\, flat\, shaded\, scenic 1.5 miles\, round-tri
 p. The hardest part is the 30 or so stairs we'll take from the parking lot 
 to the bakery (but it will be worth it).\n\nDogs love this walk because it 
 ends with a pool of water and they will be tempted to take a dip in warmer 
 weather.\n\nAfter the walk\, we'll head up to Bonaparte's Breads in the Sav
 age Mill center.  There is a great outdoor patio area right in front with l
 ots of tables. You can buy a snack or a full lunch at the bakery and then b
 ring it outside. The area is enclosed and usually fairly quiet\, so our dog
 s will be safe from any traffic.\n\nFor those interested in continuing on a
  longer walk afterwards\, we will give you directions for more very nice tr
 ails in Savage Park.\n\nBring enough water for you and your dog\, and dress
  sensibly for the weather.\n\nDIRECTIONS TO THE BOLLMAN TRUSS BRIDGE:\n(If 
 using Mapquest or a GPS\, try entering 8680 Foundry Street\, Savage\, MD an
 d it will get you there.)\n\nFrom Route 32:\nTake exit 12 toward Laurel.\nG
 o about 0.4 miles and turn Right on Washington Blvd. (U.S. 1 South).\nGo 0.
 5 miles and turn Right on Gorman Road.\nGo 0.4 miles and turn Right on Foun
 dry Street.\n\nThe bridge is big and red and you can't miss it.  Park in th
