Join the first Columbia Walk & Wag sponsored by Columbia Association!
The Columbia Association is holding this event in conjunction with the Columbia BikeAbout which is marking its 10th year. The BikeAbout has been a successful way to expose people to Columbia's history while enjoying the beautiful Columbia paths and open space. The idea of Walk & Wag grew from the idea of reaching a broader audience by offering a tour to walkers -- with and without their dogs.
The Walk & Wag will start and end at the Columbia Town Center lakefront. Walkers may start anytime from 10:30 to 11 am. It is a self-paced, self-guided walk. Participants will receive a brochure that highlights points of interest along the route from Town Center to Wilde Lake and back. The event is free.
Pre-registration is encouraged but not mandatory.
Day of event registration will begin at 10 am.
There is a Flyer and Registration Form in our Files section.
There is a post ride/walk event starting at 11:30. In addition to the events listed on the flyer we will have a number of dog-related booths similar to the Dog Day Afternoon (April 17).
