Welcome Cynthia! We're glad that you have decided to join our group. Many animals are in crisis these days and they need our help. Thanks for your willingness to get involved. See you at an upcoming Meetup! (Love the photo!)
Cynthia, Saw your interest in beaches. If you can get this link to work it gives the "allow" times for dogs on the beach in Delaware.

also has a link to a few Dog friendly accomodation places. I did Rehoboth in winter once with my old dog. He loved it. It was fairly solitary and cold which was fine for me and my old friend. Especially since he wasn't around too long after the trip.
I'll probably sign up for the Columbia Group as well. The Baltimore Off-Road group sounds REALLY interesting. I used to do this with the dog I "lost" last year. Points east of Baltimore are a bit of a trek for me though. Two hour round trip treks with hiking in the middle might not be practical for a day trip. Do you know roughly where they take the hikes? Thx.
Hi Cynthia. Welcome to Columbia Dogs On The Go. This is an active group and we welcome all breeds and the humans they own. I love to organize the walks. My scotties and I get lots of exercise and good socialization. Hope to see you soon at one of the walks or other events.
Hi Cynthia,
The beach from the picture is in Delaware. When we go to ocean city we bring our dog and if you just cross over the State line into Delaware from Maryland it is right there. Lots of dogs and lots of fun. I can not remember the name of the beach but I am sure you can find it online. Hope this helps.
