Introduction
I love doing things with my two collies and wanted to meet other dog people who feel the same way! They are both my best friends and companions and are a total joy to be around!
What is your dog's (or dogs') name(s)?
My dog's names are Nicholas and Oliver- the white collie is Nicholas and the sable/white collie is Oliver. They are both therapy dogs and service dogs. Ther are certified with Delta Society, Therapy Dogs International and Fidos for Freedom, Inc. Nicholas has done more than 1600 hospital visits and was given an award from National Navel Medical Center for getting a wounded warrior out of a coma. I am so very proud of him!! Oliver has done over 900 visits to hospitals and both my boys help me get around. They pick up the things that I drop on the floor and help to balance me when I need assistance.

Tell us a little more about you and your dog(s). Favorite activities? How you met?
I was lucky to get both Nick and Oliver when they were young. I met Oliver through a handler at a dog show. They were looking for a home to place him since he was not "show quality"! How lucky could I get? He is so very kind and his entire life has been to just please me. He is now 9 yrs old and still learning new skills! I found out about Nick because he's a white collie and I have a soft spot for the white collies!! I got Nick when he was 4 mos old because he couldn't be shown. He learned his skills so quickly and now both he and his "brother" work together. They both love to herd and will herd anything. They love their squeaky toys and retrieving the toys. They like to be challenged and I am always having to come up with something different for them to do because they will get bored! But I imagine that their favorite thing is to be around me!
