Guinness and I will go to the Laurel Dog Park this Saturday. Guinness will be 18 weeks old tomorrow and needs some buddies to play with. I hope to see you there!

Leo E. Wilson Community Park & Dr. Bruce Morley Dog Playground. From Columbia travel South on 95, take exit 33A to 198 East toward Laurel. Turn right at Van Dusen Road and a left onto Alan Drive to park. They have 2 enclosures, one for small dogs and one for bigger dogs.

Lisa, I would absolutely go with you, but have you checked the weather forecast? It is bound to be over our puppies heads! Definitely in the future.

Yeah, Laurel is close and I need to "socialize" my two 11 month labs but I'm probably going to need to hunker down this weekend. Folks at NWS think it will be pretty bad.

Ok, Ok, Ok. As soon as we get a dry weekend that is closer to 50 degrees than to 30 degrees, I will post a meetup at the Laurel Dog Park! This morning I am de-icing the scotties using a warm damp towel. Yeah, I'm the one who let them go romp around in the snow and get ice balls in their long fur! It was fun!

This is a great use of the Message Board, everyone. And a nice way to make sure our dogs have playmates at the park.

One of these days, the weather will be on our side . . . !

Mary, I would love to stop by there as well with Lady Bismarck but the weather isn't going to be too good.

Yea I posted this after the Sunday meetup came out and hadn't checked the weather. I hear it will be snowing all day Saturday, :(. but since I dont have to work this weekend I'll definitely have him out in the snow sat or sunday. If it's just flurries and the roads are safe I'll still go but Im thinking its gonna be a blizzard. I hope we can def. have some meet ups soon. I would like to start meeting every saturday at the Laurl dog Park. Guinness is supposed to graduate from his puppy classes this weekend.
